How to dimension countersinks, counterbores, etc. in Fusion 360?

Sorry for this basic question but I don't see a help topic discussing the dimensioning of c'bores, c'sinks etc. in fusion 360 drawings. I saw a youtube video of an Autodesk product where the dimensioning toolbar had a "feature notes" button that had all these dimensioning tools-it looked great, similar to Solidworks. It might have been Autodesk Inventor - I see nothing like this in my Fusion 360 drawing toolbars. Is this an add on?

Do you mean like this? You can add those symbols with the "insert symbol" option.

thanks JHRendon,   I saw the insert text option, but that's pretty cumbersome on a complex drawing. I am hoping I don't have to manually dimension all text for my countersinks and counter bores and threaded features. That would be a nightmare. Solid works auto-generates this based on the hole type you modeled. 😲

In Fusion 360 there is not that option yet. Anyway always is good to know how to dimension mechanical parts.

You can learn more about it reading the ASME-Y14.5 Dimension and Tolerancing (1994) or (2009). 🙂

wow, this software is definitely not for engineers who have to dimension their own prints then. Its insane to have to hand apply all these callouts on many complex prints.  I guess my boss should have gotten Inventor instead.  This software is more for designers who pass their models off to a CAD department for dimensioning.  I'm depressed now. Wheres the emoji with a noose around its neck. 🤕

thanks for your quick help though. The forum is the best part of Fusion360 so far.

Hello folks, sorry I got sidetracked....I want the drawing to automatically say if there are (x) number of holes, and to automatically generate the c'sink, c,bore dimension that I can tolerance or modify. It automatically prints the c'sink angles, hole depths, c'bore depths...I thought this would be standard on any software nowadays..The inventor looks very capable TheCADwhisperer.  Do you use that as well as Fusion360? The yearly cost to lease inventor appears to be 4x higher than Fusion360.  Thanks for all your comments everyone. I still think fusion360 is very capable.

I don't use Fusion 360.

Only watch where it is going.

Fusion 360 has some deficiencies but every month the fusion 360 team makes a good update of the tools in the different workspaces, who knows maybe in a close future we can see this helpful tool in the drawing workspace. 🙂
