Good afternoon, I've been using fusion for a few years but have always struggled with designing with more than 1 angle. In this particular scenario, I am trying to reverse engineer my tailgate handle for my truck. I have a scan of the part I want and trying to replicate it.
The main issue I am having is that the face plate has a curve going in 2 directions and I can't find an obvious and clean way of shaping it. I have recently been trying to learn 'Form' and using the surface tools but I am still new to this. Has anyone found an obvious way to which I have missed that I could do this please?
I believe I have poorly explained this, so apologies for this. I will attach the scan and my 'best' attempt so far but it's still by no means suitable for my needs.
My computer can't handle the prismatic mesh conversion so I need to be able to re-draw it.
Thank you, I look forward to potentially learning some new ways of doing this, or re-educating myself with something that i may have overlooked.
