Hi everybody! I have encountered this problem several times. It is not actually a problem, but a curiosity. Does anybody know the best way to cut a solid using profiles found in 2 diferent planes? Probl.png

As you can see, I have an elevated section which I had to achieve by deleting the extra material around it. It used to look like thisprobl2.png

If anybody knows what is the best (safest) way to do it, I would be very grateful. The way I did it left my model with an extra circle and I suppose it is not the best approach.Circle.png

This looks strangely familiar 😉

Coould you share your model (export as .f3d and attach to next post) so we can take a look at it ?

Your last split body opertion creates three bodies in your "Base:1" component:

Insead of removing faces, from body "Case (1) (1)", which will leave you with remaining and probably useless faces, you should remove (not delete) body "Case(1)(1)" and then modify->combine(join) bodies "Case" and "Case(1)".

Start by deleting the last two DeleteFace operations.

First of all I would like to ask you again what your name is because I forgot. And then, I would like to say I am very pleased that there are people like you!  You are awesome!
