Hello Fusion 360 Community,

I'm looking for guidance on how to draw welding joints in Fusion 360 to create a 3D model with clear welding representations. I want to provide our welder with a detailed 3D drawing that visually depicts the welding for metal joints, rather than relying solely on written notes in the drawing.

Could someone please share a clear and concise step-by-step tutorial or provide some tips on achieving this in Fusion 360? Your insights and expertise would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Best regards

Extrude, Sweep or Revolve.

Attach your *.f3d file here if you can’t figure it out.

TheCADWhisperer,

I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for your prompt response and valuable input regarding creating welding joints in Fusion 360 for 3D models. Your suggestion to use Extrude, Sweep, or Revolve is indeed a helpful starting point, and I will explore these options further. If I encounter any challenges, I'll be sure to share my *.f3d file for additional guidance.

Moreover, I wanted to mention that I watched your YouTube video on sheet metal for curved surfaces, and it proved to be incredibly beneficial, especially for my laser cutting projects. Your instructional content has been instrumental in expanding my knowledge and capabilities in Fusion 360.

Once again, thank you for taking the time to assist me with this matter. Your expertise and educational resources are greatly appreciated.

Best regards,
