How to create Lugs inside a cylinder.

This is a learning project to create a model I can 3D print to repair an electric toothbrush.

I've started over on this from scratch to reinforce the little I do know and to make a cleaner design.

At this point I need two locking lugs 180 degrees apart on the inside surface near the base. they need to be rectangles and mirrored. I need to be able to rotate them and adjust the dimensions and distance from the base as a single unit. I have attempted several times but cannot get the effect I want.

Only as a basis for further processing.

I used a Plane at an angle on the Z-axis, this gives you the possibility to rotate the lugs.
The "length" of the lugs are driven by Start Offset in the Extrude feature.Skärmbild 2022-12-26 171436.jpg

I appreciate your help very much! This seems to solve the problem but I need the top of the lugs to be 3.5 mm from the base and I can't seem to adjust this parameter.

As I mentioned this is a learning project and I have zero previous CAD experience. Thank you for taking the time to respond.

I must recommend doing some basic learning and things will be easier.

Have a look at the built in learning center, Help (?) top right within Fusion. (Or some basic YT tutorials)

Thank you both for taking the time to assist and instruct me.

I am working my way through the learning center but I'm a bit impatient.
