Here's what I came up with using the cylinder, coil and press-pull features.

  1. Create a cylinder for the central support.
  2. Create a coil, with a square section around the cylinder.
    • The diameter should be the outer diameter of the screw portion of the conveyor.
    • The section size should be the desired thickness of the screw portion of the conveyor.
  3. Modify > Press Pull (or press Q) to do a press pull.  Zoom in and select the inner side of the square coil.  Pull it in towards the cylinder until it meets or overlaps the cylinder.
  4. Modify > Combine and select the two bodies (cylinder and coil) to make the screw conveyor.

Hello,

I tried to do the step 3 but when I select the inner side of the coil and move the cursor towards the cylinder, fusion gets an error. Can you still help regarding this? Thanks in advance.
