How to create a missing piece from a 3d scan ?

Hello,

I use a 3d scanner ( revo pop 2 ) to scan a table with a long crack in the middle (wood extension over time). My goal is to 3d print a piece to fit perfectly the crack. But I don't know where to start. I import the mesh file into fusion 360,then I repair it, finally, I was looking to create a box and intersect it with my mesh body, but I get the error "nothing to intersect with " which make me think the mesh is not a body I can intersect with. Would you have any idea how to proceed ?TABLE_FUSION.jpg

My 3d scan is here (not sure if it's any useful  ) https://1drv.ms/u/s!Aj2tqdhHMKJshNQhZbwJuCvYv5NFaw?e=8x5K9W

The image posted by @vincent.diallonort shows a Surface mesh body, not a Solid Body.

Must go another step and convert to a solid body or surface body.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?
