How to Check coordinate of link after changing its angle?

What it is.png
In the first image, i wish to note down the coordinates the red dot(or the end point of that link) at the end of the second link. The bottom cube is grounded and the two joints are drive joints.

What i'm currently doing is to move the links to the angles i want , then opening up sketch in that plane and noting down the rough coordinates of the red dot in the plane, as shown in second image.

What i want.jpg

After noting down the coordinates i go out of sketch mode, move the links again and come back in sketch mode.

Is there a way to place like a pointer at the link that shows its LIVE coordinates w.r.t the plane the body is in while I move it???

Thanks for helping out =D

You don't need to go into sketch mode to obtain the coordinates, the Measure Tool does that,

Move a link, Measure from Origin to red dot, tick Delta, and you receive the Absolute dimensions each time,

repeat.

Dont know of an automated way, or how far each link will go,

Would be easier with a script,

would suggest trying a question in the API programming section of the Forum.

Might help...
