I have a number of copies of an object. I'd like to be able to tell how many I have by looking at the last instance number. Unfortunately, along the way of creating them I deleted some of them, and when more were created, it skipped over the instance numbers that were deleted. So now the sequence of instance numbers is not consecutive.
Is there a way to modify the instance numbers so I can make the series of instance numbers consecutive?
