How to change line thickness.

I am converting my 3d model by way of drawings from design.  When I print them the lines are too dark or wide or heavy.  How do you make the lines thinner.  See attached sketch.

@Anonymous,

I do not believe line thickness can be changed in a drawing currently.

Then that is an issue I would suggest be fixed. I am using Fusion to create drawings to use in Patent application. The lines are too fat therefore small detail is not clear. The lines on the screen are crisp and clear. The lines on the PDF file are ok. But I'm afraid the patent examiner will have a problem. Is there a way to print straight from the drawings in the program? I mean the 2d drawings created from the 3D model?

Are you allowed to use JPGs or PNGs. The last time I supplied drawing for a patent I used JPGs so you might be OK with a screen gab.

I see no option to save as anything but pdf. I hope the PTO will accept the drawings as is. If there is anyway to get the print lines to be more crisp like they should, I would like to know how to make it so.

Check out the attached screen shot on the word doc.   Maybe I can take screen shots if there is no other way.

In Windows Accessories there's a program Snipper Tool that will allow you to take a screen grab.

When you try to save the drawing as a PDF, the "output PDF" window has the option "lineweihgts" selected by default. If you unselect that option, all the lines on the document will appear much thinner. I had the same problem and by trial and error that's the only solution I get. Hope it works for what you need.Output_PDF_Detail.png
