How to centre a hole on a surface?

Hello All,

I feel a bit silly asking this but can someone help me?

I am trying to place a counter bore hole in the centre of a surface.  I cannot see any snaps or how to apply the mid point constraint when placing the hole.

My question: Is there a way to place holes on a surface centre?

Related to this I have noticed that you can achieve holes by either using the hole command or by sketching circles and press/pulling to get the hole.

Another quesrtion:  What is considered the best method for creating holes that need to be accurately placed?

Hello,

There is possible to use the Hole feature – in point of my view it is better to use Hole Feature for a counter bore hole  than extrude a sketch.

When you are placing a hole then selected face(planar face only)  is displaying center of the face automatically and you can use this center easily – see attached video

When you are creating a sketch for cut extrude then you have to construct center point – see second attached video
