How to attach boss to sloped surface

Hi,

I need to add some bosses on the inside of the lid of an enclosure that has a sloped side. The lid will be printed upside down (inverted "V" shape) and I am not sure how to construct this so it joins the sloped surface (refere red arrow). Thanks in advance

Extrude to Object,

select the inside roof to have the extrude finish onto the shape.
