How do you skew text in a sketch

I'm trying to skew or distort some text I've inserted in a sketch.

Basically to give it a different perspective.

I can't seem to find any method or tools to help me do any kind of text manipulation though.

Any ideas on how I could achieve this, without simply drawing the letters with curves?

One way:

  1. Create the text in a sketch. Draw a rectangle to be used to show the skew.
  2. Create a new component.
  3. Create a plane at angle in the new component.  Precise angle depends on the amount of skew.
  4. Create a sketch on the plane.
  5. Project the rectangle to the new sketch.  If the skew is correct, project the text.  Otherwise rotate the component, project until the rectangle shows the correct skew.  I'm sure this is probably a simple trig problemSmiley Happy

Note:  It  will be easier to project the text if you extrude it first.

Hallo Nicolai,

this example was made in Gravit Designer. But it is also possible to do it with Inkscape .... .

Finally the graphic will be imported as SVG in Fusion.

Can I then extrude the imported svg in fusion?
