Hey everyone and anyone, I'm trying to draw a curved line between two objects as seen in the screen shot.  by i can't seem to get the darn program to do this.  it lets me draw a straight line between the objects but not a curved line.    if this is not possible can i use the sweep tool to connect the to parts together?

Hi @jdoger95

Have you tried to create a workplane, Project the points from both parts and then  create the curved line?

Cheers / Ben

You just need to create a plan on one of the faces.
You could also attach the file and I'll make a screencast 🙂

@jdoger95

I would not create 3d splines to do what you want. I would use the solid loft tool. I have attached the file with what you want. As soon as the screencast is uploaded I will post it.

Hi @jdoger95

What @PhilProcarioJr did, is another really good idea, if that's the shape you are looking for.

Let us know, if you are happy with this solution.

YOU GUYS! absolute LEGENDS of the trade!  sorry for the late reply i was away from home, but i just got home and jumped on and saw the ideas you had. the loft idea worked best for me just because creating planes gets really annoying most of the time. but still thanks to both of you!
