How do you cut an object using two different splines?

I want to cut a shape out of this cube, which is made out of two different splines, but I don't know how you would call this action and therefore cant find any tutorials on it.

Go to Surface area.

Create > Loft - one curve to the other.

Split Body > Select the solid body, then select the surface body from the Browser,

you may have to tick, extend Tool, > Ok.

In the Browser, Select the offcut body, then Right Click and Select Remove.

Might help....

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

If you want both sides then Split Body instead of Replace Face.

Thank you for your answer, the loft tool was exactly what I was looking for, but I used the tool from the solid area to cut out part of the block.
