that gives an idiot error that says it violates the length constraint, which, of course, is what you are trying to change.
Unbelievable someone could even WRITE software like this without QA even looking at it. Hardest app I've used since... Oh, yeah, Auto-Sketch from years ago.. It was designed to be harder than holy heck to use to.
So, I presume the answer is: Delete the freaking line, and then recreate it the length you wanted in the first place.
The options: Double click the line and enter a new value - conflicts with constraint.
Right click and 'edit constraints' (menu option doesn't exist, it only exists in your documentation)
Right click, show constraints. Again, non-existant option..
I've used Corel Draw for years, and it was hard to learn, but at least you could easily change things once you got the hang of it. I don't understand why in God green earth would someone want to lock something instantly when you create it... just makes the program ONLY usable by those of us who never make mistakes, and always create their drawings perfect the first time... and never have to modify one.
SO freaking frustrating... I got to where I was yelling at you crApp just screaming mad at it... (although, that was more when I was trying to get the stupid orbit to work.. I didn't realize you had to click ON an object to 'orbit' it.. I just wanted to change my view being 100% sure I wasn't going to change my model (so, no clicking on the model)
I suppose, eventually, the app might be usable...
