First, sorry if this is a repeat, I looked back through all the forum and didn't find a similar question.

I am trying to project a sketched line onto a curved surface to create a trajectory for a follow on sweep feature on that surface.  In ProE you can sketch a line onto a sketch plane and then project it to the chosen surface; I found what looks like a similar function but can't get it to work, probably doing it wrong.  I have read through the on-line documentation and it's a little less than helpful.

Anyone have some words of wisdom to help with this issue?

What might be catching you out is you can not project a curve that in the same sketch. So you need say Sketch1 with the curves then create Sketch2 and with it active project the curves from Sketch1

Hey Mark, thanks for the assist.  That was in fact where I was making the mistake.  Just tried it and....presto it worked like advertised!
