Is fusion supposed to avoid flipping components, or is it considered okay?

Has fusion never flipped components in your personal experience?

Which action causes the components to flip?
Does it happen when joining with the "Joint"?

Can you share a video?

Select 'Arrange", then select the components to arrange by clicking and holding and creating a box around them.  I think it is at this point that some flip.  Often i don't realise some have flipped until later.

I don't think i use arrange in any strange way.  I expect this is happenning to lots of people (?).

I don't tend to use the joint command.  I tend to be working with pieces of flat plate.

I don't have time to point out the ever increasing flood of new issues.

If I have a recurring problem that costs me time, I would rather spend time describing it in detail in the forum. And in such detail that it is comprehensible.
The easiest way is to upload a file where the problem occurs.

When the captain of the ship orders the engineers to cut holes in the hull, i can't save the ship no matter how hard i try.

I use arrange with some frequency to create drawings that I send out to waterjet and laser services. I haven't had a case of flipping that wasn't fixable through settings choice.

What settings?

I tend to align my components to the X-Y plane.  Then when i arrange, some components get flipped by fusion.

do you have an example model where things get flipped?  maybe we can diagnose something.
