how do I smooth out a curved surface

I have a curved surface that I need smooth. Instead when I send it to the slicer, all the top faces are "stepped". I need it smooth. How can I accomplish this once I've created the curve?

Hi,

This is normal with your positioning on the print bed, although the step is less noticeable with a lower layer height. Position the part vertically.

I will try that in a print tonight. The Surfaces that end up "stepped " in this configuration, are hidden so this solution will work if it prints correctly. Thank you!
