You can try just deleting the faces or use the split body command.

Think about it, you do not have a solution to your question and you have the model so how in the world do you expect one of the Fusion 360 Forum users to find a possible solution looking at a picture?  Please attach your model.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

The preferred method to share pictures is NOT to attach them, but to embed them. You can do that by dragging them from a file location directly into the post or if they are already copied to the clipboard, you can insert them using CTRL-V.

I am not going to point out what the function incredibly elusive camera symbol in the editing menu of a post does 😉

If you want help and we ask you for the design file, I suggest you attach it!
