Hi Luke,

 

The short answer is to change the Offset Type of the Press/Pull to "New Offset", then you can CTRL select (CMD select on a Mac) more faces to offset.

 

What I suspect that you are seeing in your screencast is "smart Press/Pull".  If the mode is set to "Automatic" or "Edit Feature", Press/Pull tries to go back and edit the feature definition.  To check that, make your sketch visible.  See if it changes as you Press/Pull.  But, this is not what you want anyway (in fact it is the exact opposite of what you want - because it would modify the "ideal" part).  But "New Offset" will do what you want and add an offset feature in the timeline.

 

We were just discussing this yesterday.  We realize this is confusing and are trying to straighten it out.
