Well.. the filter shown in this quick tip also only works on files, but not on folders.

I am at a loss of words! Well...not really, but I do need to adhere to the forum rules ...

All I can say is add it to the ongoing list...........

I mean, come on ..... really ?

That same quick tip also shows that when you click on one of these little arrows you get a panel that presents you with the other folders at the same level.

However, when that list is too long it just gets cut off and there's no scroll bar allowing you to get to the folders further down the list.

I've been able to do this stuff 30 years ago with Norton Commander in DOS!

yep, one of my major gripes with the whole cloud based file management. i recently tried to organize all my fusion files and gave up after half an hour. i could live with the fact of not being able to move folders if at least i could get a decent list of all my files and sort them like i could in Win95. i can search for .f3d files but guess what, not all my files show up in the results and those who do show no modification dates and no way to sort. The returned list shows a creation date for each file but it's not sorted chronologicaly and there are no columns to sort by any other criteria as well.

makes ya kinda feel like the guy on the right here

It appears that in a team hub, moving a folder is actually possible and very easy to do as I've confirmed with a client.

A team hub costs $120 annually for the owner of the  hub and each user that wants to work in a team hub also has to have a running subscription for $120 annually.

A fool who comes to the conclusion that availability of this "advanced" feature is kept to the team hub on purpose.

I believe that folders can be moved in

https://myhub.autodesk360.com/g/all_projects

To move to a new project folder, the new folder needs to be created before moving and a copy needs to be created in the project folder. Then the original can be deleted.

@banzledin Yes, that can of course be done, but that does not really move a folder along with all the files in it.

When I started this thread in 2017 this did not work.

I am glad to see that my posts here and on the Autodesk Expert Elite forum have resulted in implemented functionality you are going to be able to enjoy now.

This actually doesn't seem to do anything for me...

Always says "Cannot move selected folder."1122334455

not working here neither, always getting "cannot move selected folder". as always a more explicit error message would certainly be helpful ...

tried once again to make some order in my files/projects but gave up again ... ordering projects/designs/files after the fact seems to be next to impossible.
