I have a solid that I created, there is an opening in it that needs to be manipulated, creating an angular hole. I need to slide the entire bottom over 4mm, and squeeze the ends so that there is a minimum of 16mm around the opening. The top is the correct shape currently. And there should be a smooth consistent transition between the top and bottom.
When I convert the body to a form it becomes a big cube, with the outline inside it. When I start to delete the faces that are not needed, it changes the shape, I do not want that. I just want the bottom of the opening moved 4mm. (See picture below, The blue edge needs to be manipulated)
Could someone post a screen cast of how to do this? (I've attached the drawing)
