Hi

I am working on this R2 Skin project still, and I put a cut in the cylinder so I can make a flat pattern.

But for some reason I have this wierd shadow showing up:

Does anyone know what causes that and how to remove it?

Any help would be great.

Regards

Ian

I think it's just a graphic glitch because range of details is wide in your model. If you change Display Detail Control to Fixed High it goes away:

I also found out that if you apply a small fillet to that edge, with Adaptive Display Detail you won't see the glitch (perhaps because local details are high with fillet and Fusion adapts the graphic accordingly?):

Hi

I appreciate that. That shadow was really annoying me, but I am glad it was a simple fix.

Using the fillet is also a good thing to know, it will help for the rest of the project.
