Hi there!

I'm making a Lyre out of wood for my son. I have it laid out and extruded it, but its extruded too and even height of 25 mm. The instrument should be 25 mm tall (thick) at the base of the instrument and 12mm tall (thick) at the top. I'm not sure how to get the extruding done to achieve this result. Can I project a plane that is on a slight angle and then tell it too extrude to that surface?

Please find the file attached.

Thanks

Glen

Yes, you can "extrude to object".

You just need a plane.

I hope it is the right direction...

Hey thanks for the quick reply and your help! It is very much appreciated.

Yes the taper was meant to go the other way. I have it all figured out and done.

As always Guenther thanks for your quick reply and help!

You Screen Cast was a big help!

I followed your steps and was able to recreate the instrument with the taper in the correct direction.
