How do I export to SVG if all I have is a drawing?

I have a specific section of a drawing that I would like to export as an SVG. This is a common workflow in other CADs but I can't find the equivalent in Fusion's drawing workflow suite. I can only export as a dxf which seems to heavily 2d-tesselate smooth lines and circles.

I tried recreating the same thing as a body and exporting the sketch in the shaperorigin plugin, but that seems to superbold all the thin lines.

I haven't experienced the 'heavily 2d-tesselated' curves in DXF exports. What software are you using to open the them?

Here's what I see when I open one of mine:

I've created a Windows application (and now Mac as well) for creating custom thread files for Fusion. You can find out about it here. Hope you find it useful.
If you need to know how to offset threads for 3D printing then I've created a guide here which you might find useful.
If you would like to send me a tip for any help I've provided or for any of my software applications you've found useful, you can do this via my Ko-Fi page here.

Hi,

Here´s DXF Export from Fusion to Inkscape  and SVG Import from Inkscape

Splines have to be converted to polylines before export!

You say a section of a Drawing?  The Shaper Origin plug-in works in the Solid Modeling environment doesn't it? Can you post a Fusion 3560 file that demonstrates the issue?

I haven't tried it yet but in the past I've been about to copy/paste into a vector graphics editor like Adobe Illustrator.

Occasionally there is some extra cleanup needed but you should be able to create a high quality SVG file regardless. I heard Affinity Designer is another option. Inkscape is a popular open-source vector editor to can import DXF files and export SVG too.
