How do I copy a sketch from one design into another?

Hi -

I can copy bodies from one design into another by creating a component, moving the bodies into the component and copy/paste the component.    I saw some old video showing how to copy sketches the same way, but I cannot seem to move a sketch into a component.    Dragging it does not work, and there doesn't seem to be any other obvious thing I can do.

Is this doable?

Thanks

Betty

Open Current Design.

Open Destination Design.

Copy Sketch Articles as required with Cntrl C.

Swap to Destination Design.

Edit Destination Sketch - Paste with Cntrl V.

Don't know if you can do this with Personal Licence.

Might help....

I have a professional version, but the CTRL-C and CTRL-V don't seem to do
anything for me.

you have to select the sketch geometry, not the sketch itself, to be able to copy.  Edit the sketch in design 1, select geometry, copy, go to design 2, create a sketch, paste:

Okay,

I managed to accomplish this by creating a new sketch in the destination, then editing the sketch in the first design and selecting the individual pieces of the sketch and do a copy and then paste it into the newly created sketch on the destination design.
