Hi!
I am currently trying to create something that will look like what had shown in the image bellow.
A spiral with a rectangular surface (Slightly angled) using Sweep function.
But instead it end up with a spiral with irregular angle. As you can see from the image bellow, the angle of the surface start changing as it goes which eventually end up with twisted surfaces.
I have no idea what is going on. Please help I have been trying to solve this problem for quite a while.

Use path with guide surface.
also, I can't tel if your using a "plane along path" for your sketch location, but that will work better if your not.
@laughingcreek 's answer is the easiest and best one. But - just so you know - you could instead use a path and a guide rail. It would be more work, because you would have to create another helix path to use as the guide rail.
A problem with @laughingcreek 's technique is you'll end up with segmented surfaces. A better technique is to use a path and guide rail. See attached file and screencast. A couple a tips, use the edge of the coil, don't use project include 3d as the spline created is not as accurate as the coil edge. Second the vertical path needs to be at least the same height as the coil.
