How can I model multiple parallel conduit/pipes or cables (such as ATX power supply cables)

I've followed some tutorials on using splines to model a pipe/cable, or a length of twisted cables, but I'm unsure how to approach this. A 24 pin ATX power cable would be two rows of twelve, or an 8 pin PCIE two rows of 4, etc.

Twisted cables would be a little different to flat cable.

Sweep, and Sweep with Path and Guide Surface respectively.

Twisted cables would only need a sketch path

flat cables depending on the layout I would consider a surface to maintain orientation.

Hello @Anonymous - the easiest way is as shown.

for more attention to detail make the cables overlap. How many individual pins you use you determine yourself by working with parameters. greetings mango Unbenannt.PNG
