How can I model multiple parallel conduit/pipes or cables (such as ATX power supply cables)

I've followed some tutorials on using splines to model a pipe/cable, or a length of twisted cables, but I'm unsure how to approach this. A 24 pin ATX power cable would be two rows of twelve, or an 8 pin PCIE two rows of 4, etc.

Twisted cables would be a little different to flat cable.

Sweep, and Sweep with Path and Guide Surface respectively.

Twisted cables would only need a sketch path

flat cables depending on the layout I would consider a surface to maintain orientation.

for more attention to detail make the cables overlap. How many individual pins you use you determine yourself by working with parameters. greetings mango
