How can I make gears that are editable?

I tried the spur gear add in. It creates gears, but I cannot at a later stage edit the number of teeth. I can only delete it and create a new one. Do you guys have an idea?

Hi @spooner777,

 

You can change the number, by double click on the pattern feature on the timeline.

Don't think that will update the diameter or the tooth form.

To do this correctly you need an equation driven curve unfortunately Fusion doesn't have this option.

Here's an example in Solidworks, look around 9.20.

 

 

One option might be to use an external linked design, you'd still need to edit and delete but when you save the external file your design should update.
