How can I extrude and rotate this part?

Hello. I'm new at using Fusion and Cad Drwaing. I've watched some tutorials and started drawing a part I need but I cannot understand how should I design a specific part of it.

As attachment you can find the original part photo.

This is what I've done and I think I have to extrude and rotate the sketched blue part, but it seems to me this is not possibile and has to be done in other ways, any suggestions?

Hello. This are the pictures I have:

I wanted first to make a draft and 3d print it, then to make the "final product"

Hi,

If you are that new then check out Fusion RULE #0 that is pinned to the top

of this forum. The techniques you will need are a bit advanced for a beginner

and you should have a little background knowledge first. The Documentation

has excellent embedded tutorials and the Self Paced Learning is also excellent.

The good news is that you have everything you need to model this. I would start

by taking a front, side and top view of the item and starting a new project and

use these images as a Canvas on each axis. Once inserted as a Canvas you then

need to Calibrate the canvas so that the image is the correct dimensions.

Use the calibrated canvas to create an accurate sketch of each side. Literally

trace the edges. This will give you a basic shape of the item and some "rails"

along the edges. Then use the Sweep or Loft command in the Surface tools.

This would give you the basic shape including the curves. Add a few flanges

and thicken the whole thing up and its done.

Cheers

Andrew

Hi,

Please show pictures from above/below, from the sides, and from the front/back.

Isometric views are not meaningful here.

Hi! This particular part can be made more easily with Surface Modeling workflow. Instead of creating a solid body right away, you may create a patch surface (delete the extrusion and use Patch command to create the patch surface). Then use Ruled Surface command to protrude the left edges to a distance at an angle. Stitch the surfaces together. Use Thicken command to solidify the surface body. Lastly, round off the edges.

Many thanks!
