The step you don't see in the video is my use of Camera commands to make the view "Perspective" for a more realistic look.
There is no way to avoid a red border on the attached canvas other than not to use one. The original post showed another customer using Attached Canvas when they really wanted what Decal has to offer. Once I explained it they considered that a solution to their red border problem.
Attached canvas: For placing and sizing an imported image for the purpose of modeling and reverse engineering workflows. These do not appear in renderings.
Decal: For placing an imported image for the purpose of showing graphic art on your model, such as a warning sticker, simulated display screen, company logo, etc.
What are you trying to use an image for in your design? Maybe it would help to know your intended workflow.
