Help with Sweep

I am trying to design a tube bumper. When I attempt to sweep along the path I can not get it to go flush on both ends of the tube. Not sure if I am using the wrong tool or just missing something. Thanks for any help.

I would use a profile sketch plane perpendicular to the path.

I would expect this design to have symmetry - so one of the Origin planes should work.  No need to create an extra workplane.

If you want to create these as Pipes - just a bit more work.
