Help with aligning a rotated object

I have a CNC design here that needs the Z-axis motor to be aligned to the spacers while the motor is rotated 45 deg. When I try and align the motor to one of the spacers, it goes out of its rotated form. How do I align while keeping the components rotated form? Also the plates and holes maybe mismatched to the motor holes since this is still WIP, however, I wanted to understand how this works.

You are correct the spacing on the mount does not match the Nema Motor.

When placing the joint, you are presented with the move triad, and rotate to 45 deg just has to be requested before the OK.

Might help...

That does help. Thank you. Any way I can create this using 'Align' instead of creating a joint?

Can make align move it, but the rotate 45 degrees is not an option, in the align command.

Using a joint is generally preferred over using the Align tool because the joined components will stay joined when moving one of them or  when changing dimensions affects one of them.

You can use the Move tool after the Align tool to rotate the motor 45 degrees.

Thanks. Yeah I can see how that can be tedious.
