Help with a sheet metal!

G'day Fusion members

I have a problem that I can't solve. I am trying to create a bent part (a box 2.5mm Alloy)  that does not have the same angle on all edges. I'm trying to show the problem here and maybe someone can help me.

I have attached 3 files, the first is a body what the box should look like, the second is a sheet of metal what the box should look like (Sheet metal tool Fusion) and the third is a picture how the angle should be.

The two .stp files made some problems with the direct upload here, so I have a link where you can download them.

https://easyupload.io/m/id67ls

I've try many options and watched several videos but I could not find a solution for that.

Could the program simply not be able to do this?

If you need other files, please let me know.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers

Oli

You can Attach STEP files here by first zipping.

If running on Windows OS - place files in folder and then right click on the folder and select Send to Compressed (Zipped) Folder.

Examples of essentially the same geometry have been posted here many times in the past, so it is doable.

I'll get right on it...

Is there a reason that you did not -

File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply rather than STEP?

That would have saved a lot of time.

@TheCADWhisperer

Yes, that would be easier. I'm just used to use .step files for forums.

Do you need the .f3d file?

Looks good until now.:)

How did you do this with this small edges.  Is this possible to cnc bend after?
Is that a parametric thing?

You can model those corners any way that you want/need - I just show one example.

Check with your fabricator.
