Help parametric modeling

Help me understand why not apply some of the parameters when drawing figures. I point out the name of the parameter when making a circle - it is marked with the "FX" if it works and to change, but when you create a rectangle parameter is converted to a resolution. And its size does not change when I change the appropriate option.

this is a bug I have just run into it my self when you set the user paramiter if it does not show up with the fx double click on the parameter box and hit enter. 

 

I will see if I can do a screen cast for ya

just did the screen cast it is how I said to fix it highlight (not double click my bad) the demention and hit enter took time to get it to happen again

Thanks, @daniel_lyall.  That screencast is very helpful.  It is, indeed, the same basic bug as in bug-adding-a-parameter-as-a-dimension.

 

I hadn't before, though, realized the "randomness" of this bug.  Very strange, software does not tend to be that random....

@jeff_strater I hit it a couple of time when I was makeing adjustments to a sketch,  it did not happen on every demention just some, I just had to highlight the box and it pooped up with the user demention and I hit enter and it was fine.
