Help needed with Assembly constraints (Fusion 360)

Hello, I sincerely apologize for being unable to find the answer to this question because I'm sure it's been asked before.

I understand translating and rotating components within an animation. That's very easy.

But I have a linkage system and it's not practical to individually translate each component to render an animation.

In the assembly workspace, 'click and drag' works so well for visually inspecting the linkage motion. How can I replicate the same motion in the animation workspace?

If someone could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful.

Hi rocwbk,

Don’t worry. The community is a good place to ask questions. Welcome!

It sounds like the feature request of Joint support in Animation workspace: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-ideastation-request-a/animate-using-joints/idi-p/5446264

The development team is already starting to investigate this.
