Since day one I seem to be struggling with this big time.

What is the correct and best way to move the rectangular sketch so that its origin coincides with the top level origin.

If I use Point to Point then I need place a point midpoint on line. Is that the only way?

also, is there a way to mirror the Pivot?

Thank you guys, its this little things that drive me crazy

Use a midpoint constraint between the top one and the origin.

Thank you, that would work on this specific case. How about if I just want to move ANY point I pick on that line to another POINT , Origin or else where.

PS: any idea on my second question?

Move - Point to Point, needs two actual points existing when using that tool.

To change the Pivot position, its Set Pivot, and don’t forget Confirm tick.

Pivot Orientation, Mirror - why?

Mirro does not exist in the Move Tool.

Might help.....

Create a coincident constraint between the top line and the sketch origin. Then dimension from one corner to the to the sketch origin. Again, no move command needed.

Lern to understand to use constraints and dimensions. It takes some practice.
