Help! Can't figure out how to model a part...

Got some great help here the other day that taught me something new, now I'm hoping I can get some similar help on a new roadblock.

I'm trying to create something similar to the attached image... well, the top rounded part at least. gravity_rod_by_johnny_radar-d6x0zl5.jpg

 

It needs to be 2-inches in diameter at the base (ignoring the rings below) and then taper up to a rounded tip. I can't figure out how to do such a thing and all my experimenting is not getting me anywhere. I'm guessing it is probably pretty easy (like most things in Fusion are once I figure them out or am shown), but I can't seem to get it right.

Do you have more dimension for that upper part . Well , you can also use revolve to create that part . First create a sketch and then use revolve command to create that shape .
