Good Morning,
So I am trying to do some animation with a Hazmat Cap assembly. Now I made a animation where the camera view rotates around the cap 360. When I play it back I turn the "View" tab to pause and try playing it but it doesn't play. When I turn the View back to record it plays but it plays incorrectly and stops in the middle of the preview and then makes a cut into my animation time line.
Hopefully you can see it.
Idk why when I play the preview it does this but also notice instead of giving me a smooth transition the video keeps zooming in and out of the model when it rotates and I do not want that. There is a video of the problem attached
Can anyone help?
Hi @hansfordCom ,
Thank you for posting on the fusion forum...!
We can understand that you do not get the correct animation of your components.
I did try with some of the basic component assemblies, just take a look at this animation video attached.
I can take look into your storyboard if you can share it with me, it needs to check with the timeline and camera position.
If anything incorrect I will try my best to make it correct.
Please share the F3d file in reply.
Hi @hansfordCom ,
Thanks for the reply,
Yes, you can reply here with an attachment.
Hi @hansfordCom
I am not sure how you have created this animation so it is very difficult to say what has happened but you may be recording the changes in view as you rotate the view cube.
Fusion will continue to record changes in view all the time the view record is toggled on. This will record in the middle of a playback even and is quite counterintuitive in some ways. To get into a position to record a view rotation, toggle off the view record first, get into position and then toggle on the view record.
When view record is switched off there will be a warning on screen View is not recording, it would perhaps make sense if there was one that said view is recording otherwise it is not obvious.
I hope this information helps, I can only guess from your model and experience that this may be your problem so apologies if I have made an incorrect assumption.
