Having trouble selecting an arc for dimensioning

In drawing view, on this design, I can't select an arc.    I need to display a radius dimension.   I can't select the arc to display radius, diameter, or center point.    I can however select the arc with a text leader.   Looking at the model in the design file I can select the arc and view radius with the inspect tool.

Any idea why I can't select the arc?

My guess would be the arc is not quite perpendicular with the view so you're getting an ellipse. Not sure how you can check in the drawing workspace, if you zoom in is there a double line showing the top face of the are is not aligned with the bottom or the arc. You might need hidden details enabled for this.

It definitely is not perpendicular.   Each plane between the lines on that rectangle is a different plane at a slightly different angle .

Is it just the slot and arc that are not perpendicular with the view or is it the whole body? If it's the body you need to create a named view in the model workspace to get the correct orientation. To do this, in the model workspace select the top face ot the body then select Look At from the toolbar at the bottom of the viewport. Now right click Named view and create a new view then save the file. Now create a new drawing and select the named view as the base view in the drawing.

It seems like with this type of geometry, that there is no way to pull these dims off of just one base view?   There are 14 distinct planes on that top view alone (each line represents a boundary of a new plane)
