Having trouble mirroring; tangent lines disconnect

I have only a few hours of experience with Fusion 360 but I am having some trouble with a mirrored part and line tangents becoming disconnected. Here is what the part looks like shortly after I attempt to resize the circular part in the middle.

Here is a short clip of the whole process in action: http://recordit.co/Bd48b43aHe

I think the problem might actually be with my constraints as I see the center construct also shifts to the right.

Here are some parameters I am trying to apply to the sketch:

  • All circles need to be adjustable in size
  • The distance between the center of the part and the center of the outer circles needs to be adjustable
  • The part will be mirrored on the x and y axis

Sorry, but I'm probably going about it the completely wrong way. Loving the software so far though.

I think that there are two problems:

1. The construction line which you are using to mirror by is not fixed. You should add a fixed contraint on it.

2. The lines which go from the left hand circle to the center contruction line do not have a coincident contraint on the construction/mirror line.

I believe that if you make those two changes, the tangent lines will properly extend and resize when you resize the center.
