Gumball showing when drawing?

Why is the gumball (what it's called in Rhino, the rotation handle and reference origin, I don't know the Fusion terminology for it) showing up when I draw sketch elements.
This is something that just started happening, oh, maybe a week or two ago? I don't remember changing a setting to cause it, and I would like to turn it off.

The reason you see the "triad" is because you have 3D Sketch turned on in your Sketch Palette.  Go ahead and turn it off.  You can also turn it off in your Preferences if you won't be doing any 3D sketching.
