Generative Design includes hidden objects

I have hidden objects in my model space, that I need for modified objects (which are visible).

But Generative Design always includes hidden objects in the process, so I have to remove those hidden objects from the GD space, but I can't. There is no Delete in the pop-menu.

So I have to delete those objects in the model space, which I can't if I don't want to produce errors in the timeline, due to the process to generate modified objects (eg. combine with unify).

1. Is there a method to disclude hidden objects in GD from processing?

2. How can I combine 2 objects, so that in a later state I can delete one of the base objects, without creating mess in the timeline?

Richard.

You can use the Edit Model workspace inside of Generative Design to remove these hidden bodies. Edit Model allows for modification of the design model specifically for the purpose of Generative Design, without changing your original design.

Inside of the Edit Model workspace, you will have all of the modeling tools from the Model workspace, with a new timeline specific to Generative Design. You should be able to use the Combine tool to create the combination you need without disrupting your timeline of the original design.

To learn more about the Edit Model workspace, please refer to this tutorial. https://help.autodesk.com/view/fusion360/ENU/?guid=GUID-D68FFB91-D319-4E86-B63C-B2D4640A15B8#GUID-D6...
