... you need to build STL or DAE files. You can certainly use Fusion to export STL files.
Just looking at the samples for ROS, all of the 3D data is in the DAE format (which Gazebo prefers). The drone model would be worth looking into for you, at least from the physics side of things. In order to get meaningful results from a simulation like Gazebo you need to be extremely accurate with your software models whereas accuracy in your mesh has practically no effect on the outcome.
If you want the DAE files out of Fusion, you need to use a tool like Simlab. Simlab also supports texture capture from inside of Fusion (in case you have an important visual texture on your model which STL will NOT capture).
