fusion360 ultimate for existing subscribers.

As the introduction of Fusion360 ultimate is getting neare and just to be sure, here is a question.

Do existing customers (I subscribed in July 2014) have to do anything to be upgraded to ultimate at the "standard" price for life?

Or does the subscription gets updated automatically?

The end of the month has again appeared rather quickly and this offer is a terrific opportunity for a number of reasons.

From my discussion on their facebook site I was told that we had 'until November 8th to do so'. And from this article there was a comment from 'vikramdutt' that mentioned that the subscription would be automatically upgraded. 

Having said all that, I would like an official reply if we do indeed need to sign up today 🙂

If I am still under a student version, will this also be automatically upgraded to ultimate?  And when it expires will I be able to continue to use it at the $300 special price offered to those who buy in before the 8th of November?

Hi Everyone,

You have until the launch of Fusion 360 Ultimate to subscribe and still get grandfathered. We don't usually give specific dates but we are close to releasing Ultimate! I'd encourage you to hurry and subscribe so you don't miss this opportunity.

Students will get access to ultimate level functionality under their non-commerical license but if you decide to go from Student to Ultimate next year, you will pay the prevailing subscription cost. Only way to lock in the base price for ultimate is to subscribe now.

For anyone who has already subscribed, you will get an automatic update to ultimate along with an email explainig what happened.
