I have a strange problem in the model attached if I change a user parameter that is a height change it cuts the model in half in the width you can see it in the screen cast as well.

It changes the profile used for the cutting operation. Looking at Sketch8, the height is 50mm (but not dimensioned, the lines are fixed), and at Sketch 2 you still have a 50mm line to the right, but the actual height is 60mm, so it's no longer a closed profile, and then it gets deselected for the cut-operation.

I would advise you to avoid using the Fix-constraint. Also, try to fully-constrain all the Sketches with Dimensions, then it all will behave more predictably during dimensional changes.

@catot thanks for that I removed all constraints dimensioned it and put constraints back where they were needed, there were some other problems removing the constraints showed it.

 

so thanks it's all working now if I just did but joints or mortise and tenon joints it would of been easier.

 

I hate doing no nail or screw furniture designs
