Fusion Does Not Start

Fusion 360 installed and ran the first time.  Now it won't start,  does not appear on the Start menu, when trying to reinstall it says"You have the latest version of AutodESK fUSION 360.  wOULD YOU LIKE TO START THE APPLICATION?"  i CLICK yES.

 

The system cannot find the file specified.

It sounds like an issue with the start up icon.

 

Could you try browsing to and launching the below executables? 

 

%localappdata%\Autodesk\webdeploy\production\6a0c9611291d45bb9226980209917c3d\FusionLauncher.exe

 

or 

 

%localappdata%\Autodesk\webdeploy\production\fd49077b95f59b260407eb4bc8813cbec36364b9\Fusion360.exe

 

 

You may consider creating a new shortcut icon on your desktop and removing the old one.

 

Please let me know if you have any difficulties locating the files.

Did the other directory work?

 

Below is a screenshot of my directory. You'll note that there are multiple folders in the production directory.

It may help to sort by date created or date modified and then search for the Fusion360.exe.

 

If this doesn't work, it may be easier to perform clean uninstall (see below link) and the re-install fresh.
