fusion crashing juli update

Since I installed the 27 Juli update, Fusion keeps crashing quite quickly.

I tried to make a drawing: crash.

managed to make a drawing, trying to save: crash..

I'm quite helpless for the moment since I really need to use this software on a daily basis, and now it 's just not functional anymore.

I'm having the same issue!  I can hardly do anything and Fusion crashes.  Going to go crazy here... guys is there a way to roll back versions and see if that is the problem?

Hi all,

Thank you @Anonymous for helping out! As he pointed out there were some known issues, but an update we just put out about an hour ago should have taken care of most of those. @joelwigton can you confirm?

For @thijs_976, this seems to be related to something else. I need to check in with the development team to try to find a workaround in the meantime, but a fix is on its way for that too! As soon as I hear back from them, I will let you know.

Thanks,

@James.Youmatz  No, this didn't fix it for me.  😞

I seem to be unable to change any historical modifications, they all crash the program.  It warns me that other features reference that edit in the timeline, and I click "OK."  Normally it's OK and you have to fix a few downstream operations.  But now it crashes all the time.  I can't edit anything.

How can I get help?  My issue might be a different issue than the one everyone saw yesterday and today.

I mentioned on another thread, I give permission for Autodesk folks to look at my file if it will help with the debug.  I can't post it publicly, and I can't seem to export it either (warns me export to .f3d format doesn't work yet with linked external components).  The file is Stunly Enclosure Rev B (currently version 76 has the issue)

Thx, Joel

Joel,

I am a developer in Autodesk. I will be happy to help. If you can try to export the design through A360 instead of in Fusion browser. It should create a f3z file and have a link for you to download. If you can manage to get the file, we can take a look and give you a feedback as soon as possible. Or you can share your file with me if you feel comfortable.

@yehsPDX  Thanks for your help.  I tried to export it in A360 (it called it a Fusion 360 Archive file), and it said it would email me a link to the file.  I haven't received the file, that was 10 minutes ago.  Checked my junk/spam, nothing there.  Maybe it takes a while?  Anyway, what is your autodesk.com email address to send the link to?  Thanks again... Joel

@joelwigton - we had a service problem that was delaying the links being created for the exports, could you try now?  @yehsPDX email is shu-chieh.yeh@autodesk.com
