Fusion crashes my mac hard

In recent weeks (maybe 4-6) Fusion 360 has crashed my admittedly older mid 2010 i7 iMac hard four times, meaning the screen went blank and the machine simply re-booted.

This is similar to the BSOD in Windows!

I don't remember the last time this machine did that before it's several years back. No other software has ever done this and it only happens when I am actively working in Fusion 360's viewport.

I did not post this in the Support area, because there is little that AD  support can really do, but I wanted to note it in case other users have the same issue.

You can't stop us from trying!! 🙂

Any notes on what you may have been doing in the product when the system went down?

I know you upgraded to an SSD and you a 1GB ATI Radeon HD 5750 with plenty of RAM so you are above the minimum spec. I'd be curious if a system diagnostics test reveals anything about hardware. I'm sure you've driven it pretty hard 🙂 (I've seen your work).

I'll have to ask around to see about what type of diagnostic logs we could collect to take a look. Total guess at the moment, but if you fire up the Console and look at the system.log file or look at the Mac Analytics > Errors and Faults, does that provide any clues?
